Marko – Warden
Marko is the warden of two halls – Pembridge and Parsons. He hails from Croatia and works with computers. Marko lives in Pembridge with his wife, Ana, and daughters Dora and Lira. There is a lot to juggle between work, family and running two halls of residence! But there is always time for the residents if you’ve got any anything on your mind or fancy a drink.
Marko likes Ana’s food, a glass of wine, sports and talking to people. He also likes tidy and smiley students – make sure you’re one!
Lavanya – Assistant Warden
Lavanya’s the Assistant Warden here at Parsons. She spent her teenage years in the States, but returned to London to complete a degree in psychology. She’s now a researcher on a clinical trial as well as doing a PhD in mental health service research. She doesn’t get much down time but when she does she spends it creating elaborate cakes and art pieces as well as travelling. Lavanya’s experience working in various therapeutic settings has meant that she’s met some amazing people with equally amazing stories to tell. She’s a great listener and always up for coffee if you fancy a chat!
Luke – Subwarden
Luke is the Subwarden in Parson’s House and is currently completing his Masters in Petroleum Geoscience. He is approachable and sticks by a friendly ‘open door’ policy for any student needing a chat. He enjoys winding down by participating in various sports, including basketball, football and rowing, during his spare time; he also enjoys eating food to counter the effects! He looks forward to meeting you and sharing a memorable time at Parson’s House.
Kay is a fourth year physics student at Imperial. She is very excited to meet you all for another great year at Parsons! She loves travelling, and will be fresh back from a summer teaching in Thailand. She is also vice captain of Women’s Rugby and is always on the lookout for new members. Don’t hesitate to knock on her door for advice, company, or just to grab a drink!
George is going to be a third year medic. He’s from Crawley, near Gatwick airport and has a black belt in Choi Kwang Do. He loves to play poker so will probably end up turning Parsons into a Casino, and loves to listen to good music, play the ukulele and game. George will make sure the place is very lively and fun hopefully. He’s a friendly face to turn to and always there to support those who need help.
